us is a supply company that runs day-training programs on how to plaster and repair masonry, restore windows and doors as well as other crafts through its associate called Craftwork Training Center.
This position is to work as a liaison between our supply company and its training facility to the historic preservation community and also to emerging and professional craftspeople as well as the DIYers.
The message is for those who need to know about our school programs that carry college credits and can help interested parties further their career while we are at the same time acting as an advocate for the conservation of cultural heritage found in built architecture.
This position will require tracking and follow up using computer software that we use now to follow those who show interest in attending our classes.
The interest is displayed through social media and paper media advertisements that our marketing team regularly publishes to attract attendees.
Networking with local historic societies, conservancies and community colleges is a responsibilty of this position to keep the communication lines open about our training programs meant specifically to launch people into a career focused in using a trade skill and working with their hands to earn a living.
Prior experience in event planning along with good public relations skills is a plus.
