Telford, PA Telford, PA Full-time Full-time $23 - $25 an hour $23 - $25 an hour 9 days ago 9 days ago 9 days ago Job Purpose The Bilingual HR Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with management.
This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas:
onboarding, offboarding, employee benefits, performance management, recruitment and employment law compliance.
Duties and Responsibilities Primary job duties and responsibilities include:
Provide support in fielding employee questions or concerns.
Assist recruitment activities such as placing employment ads, attending job fairs, processing pre-employment testing and checks, and tracking the selection of applicants.
Assist recruitment activities for temporary workers.
Assist in interviews as needed.
Enter new hires -temp workers in the Kronos system and submits Kronos/payroll changes as needed for promotions, position changes, rate changes, etc.
Create and present offer letters and Confidentiality Agreements to prospective candidates.
Conduct New Hire Orientation along with Plant Trainer.
Provide Employment verification letters to employees as needed and handle phone employment verification.
Assist with the company's new benefits enrollment and open enrollment process.
Active in the event committee, helps coordinate and plan events throughout the year.
Post internal announcements for company events, plant updates, job opportunities, etc.
Run ad hoc reports related to HR metrics.
Provide support updating employee files.
Update HRIS systems and reports as needed.
Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations about Human Resources matters.
Translate documents.
Provide backup to the Front Office.

Strong communications skills:
interpersonal, verbal and written.
Detail oriented Must be able to work with all levels of associates and management within the organization.
Ability to prioritize workload and self-manage projects, handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.

Computer Skills:
Microsoft Office applications:
Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills; ability to analyze data.
Human Resource experience should include familiarity with or experience in recruitment.
High level of discretion/confidentiality.
Bilingual (English and Spanish) required.
Education:
1-3 years of related experience in HR required.
Working conditions Most of the work is performed in an office environment.
Physical requirements Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
