Business Development Manager

What you'll do:
Pursues New Business Award (NBA's) Goals within assigned territory or accounts.
Performs research and analyzes business needs of prospect; understands Solesis' capabilities to propose solutions.
Works with customer and internal resources to establish the scope of work, cost projections, and present quotations for projects.
Engages company engineers and designers to assist in developing solutions; demonstrates solutions to prospective clients.
Collaborates with Account Management and Customer Service departments to pursue new opportunities.
Expands client relationship through all levels of the client's organization to secure new business with Account Management team (as applicable).
Establishes and maintains strong industry relationships.
Manages and develops a customer database using best practices for SalesForce or other CRM database.
Collaborates with the Marketing Departments campaigns and initiatives and attends key customer trade shows and/or technical symposia for the purpose of networking and soliciting new clients and business opportunities.
Prepares and leads New Opportunity Reviews (NORs) Responsible for tailoring the Executive Summary of the program proposals and ensuring that all details have been accurately incorporated.
Leads the internal quote review process and presents quote to customers.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Who you are:
Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, Materials Engineering or related discipline will be considered with appropriate experience in the field contract manufacturing or healthcare.
Minimum of 2 years related experience in a sales or business development role within the healthcare or contract manufacturing industry.
Experience in the development of single use systems or textile-based products and processes.
Demonstrated ability to develop relationships at different levels within a customer organization to drive creative solutions to customers' textile challenges.
Competency in Microsoft Office applications (specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint) Competency in Salesforce, or similar, CRM Why join us:
