SPECIFIC DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Coordinate MDS schedule consisting of admission assessment on a quarterly or annual basis and when there is a significant change in status.
Schedule and prepare material for resident care conferences including care plan review and update.
Delegate MDS/Quarterly forms to be completed by RCC team.
Check MDS/Quarterly assessments for completion prior to transmitting to state.
Submit to state database in a timely manner.
Responsible for accuracy of quarterly CMI report and transmittal.
Understand and utilize Medicare regulations, PPS, Medicaid reimbursement and provide documentation to support RUGS codes.
Attend seminars to remain current with updates concerning the MDS process.
Supervise the restorative program.
Coordinate the utilization medical review as scheduled.
Attend meetings and in-services as required.
Education Completion of Registered Nurse program.
MINIMUM Nursing degree PREFERRED Experience Three years MDS or RNAC experience.
MINIMUM Five years experience in a geriatric setting with assessment responsibilities.
PREFERRED Professional Membership, Licensures, Certifications Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the State of PA.
MINIMUM.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
