The Dishwasher will be responsible for cleaning dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment used in the preparation and service of meals for our residents.

POSITION
Summary:
Must be able to communicate and establish relationships with other employees.
No experience required but must be able to follow instructions and work diligently.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Ability to follow oral and written directions Ability to work alone.
Ability to maintain steady work pace to produce an adequate supply of clean kitchen utensils and dishes and pots and pans.
Ability to scrape soiled dishes and place them in a dish machine.
Ability to operate an automated dish washing solution dispensing system.
Ability to supervise travel of dishes through dish machine.
Ability to sort clean dishes and transport them to storage area.
Ability to transport dishes to storage area.
Ability to clean work area including walls, sinks, racks and trash cans on a daily basis and follow items on Cleaning Checklist.
Ability to assess problems and breakdown in dish washing machinery.
Ability to set up Pot and Pan Room.
Ability to change water frequently in all three sinks.
Ability to empty trash container in kitchen, never allowing them to overflow.
Ability to attend in-service training programs for Dietary Service employees.
Ability to observe infection control procedures related to the Dietary Department.
Ability to follow Resident?s Rights policies at all times.
Ability to follow facility safety programs.
Ability to come to work as scheduled and consistently demonstrates dependability and punctuality.
Ability to accept assigned duties in a cooperative manner.
Ability to assume accountability for data contained in employees? handbook.
Ability to take food carts to and from the Nursing Floors.
Ability to clean and replace metal trays on food carts daily.
Ability to sweep and mop refrigerators on a scheduled basis.
Ability to clean food lowerators, cups, glasses, soup bowls and coffee cups on a scheduled basis.
Ability to clean and scrub food carts and sanitize them with quaternary ammonium compounds on a routine scheduled basis.
Ability to perform other related duties as directed by AM Cook/Supervisor, Assistant Director and/or Director of Dietary Services.
Ability to employ the following sensory and communicative activities:
feeling, hearing, seeing, smelling, tasting and reading and speaking English.
Ability to function under inside environmental conditions, extreme heat and physical, chemical and respiratory hazards.
Adheres to the Values and Expectations statement and element of the compliance program.
Attend meetings and complete Relias in-services as required.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
